City of Emeryville Awarded $265,000 Grant for Street Crossing Improvements
TPA congratulates the City of Emeryville for being awarded a $265,000 grant from the Active Transportation Program, administered by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the California Transportation Commission.
The proceeds from this grant will be used to fund street crossing improvements to the Emeryville Bicycle and Pedestrian Greenway, which connects the City’s network of bike and pedestrian paths to the neighboring Cities of Oakland, Berkeley and beyond.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.
It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Director Niccolo De Luca and TPA Associate Alex Gibbs to ensure a successful grant application.
Congratulations Niccolo and Alex and congratulations Emeryville!
