City of Fountain Valley Awarded $226,000 Grant for ADA Accessible Pedestrian Ramps

TPA congratulates the City of Fountain Valley for being awarded a $226,000 grant from the Active Transportation Program, administered by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and the California Transportation Commission.

The proceeds from this grant will be used to build ADA accessible pedestrian curb ramps within neighborhoods that are located near five elementary and middle schools in the Fountain Valley School District and the Ocean View School District. The project will provide greater mobility for the general public and improve the safety of the City’s routes to local schools.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Associate Cori Williams and TPA Associate Eric O’Donnell to ensure a successful grant application.

Congratulations Cori and Eric and congratulations Fountain Valley!
