City of Murrieta Awarded $123,300 for Murrieta Hot Springs Road Rehabilitation Project

Congratulations to the City of Murrieta who was awarded a $123,200 grant from the CalRecycle Rubberized Pavement Grant. The award will go to the Murrieta Hot Springs Road Rehabilitation Project.

CalRecycle provides this grant to areas across the state for use of rubberized asphalt which is a sustainable alternative for road paving. According to the CalRecycle website: “Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt to be used on the Murrieta Hot Springs Road Rehabilitation project from Madison Avenue to Alta Murrieta Road and Hancock Avenue Rehabilitation project from Las Brisas Road South to Murrieta Hot Springs Road.”

This latest achievement is an example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for all residents in its service area.

t’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by Townsend Public Affairs Vice President Cori Takkinen and Senior Associate Ben Goldeen to ensure a successful grant application.
