TPA congratulates California Water Service for successfully securing a grant in the amount of $4,274,800 through the Small Community Drought Relief Grant Program administered by the California Department of Water Resources to connect struggling water systems and provide safe, reliable water supplies to the more than two million people it serves.
This funding, which will support the Middlefield Road Consolidation Project, will help connect the water systems of several disadvantaged communities in the Salinas Valley. These efforts will be critical to ensuring residents not only have access to clean, safe water, but also to affordable, reliable services.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of Cal Water to protect its customers’ health and safety and provide the highest quality of services to more than 100 communities throughout California.

TPA congratulates the City of Dinuba for being awarded $1,500,000 in Community Project Funding through the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act to construct a new water well, ensuring that residents have access to reliable drinking water.
This funding, secured by Senator Alex Padilla, will greatly support the City’s efforts to promote community health and well-being by ensuring all residents, families, and visitors have access to clean and safe drinking water. The construction of this new well will be a significant step in preserving the City’s prosperity and fostering development.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to support community growth and enhance the quality of life throughout the region.

Congratulations, Sacramento Regional Transit District, for successfully securing $45,096,936 through the Rail Vehicle Replacement Program administered by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to purchase 16 new low-floor light rail vehicles! SacRT was one of only six transit agencies nationwide and the only one in FTA Region 9 to be awarded this grant.
This latest achievement is another example of SacRT’s mission to be a leader in providing mobility options for the communities it serves.

TPA congratulates Golden State Natural Resources for successfully securing $500,000 through the Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to transform excess biomass into high quality products and support forest resiliency.
This funding will support GSNR’s crucial efforts to mitigate fire risks throughout the state through innovative solutions that transform fire fuels into marketable wood products. By reducing hazardous fire fuels, GSNR will help protect the health and safety of all Californians, while simultaneously encouraging economic growth and environmental conservation.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of GSNR to promote forest resiliency, health and safety, economic growth, and quality of life throughout California’s rural communities.
