Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Secures $400,105

Congratulations to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (CCCFPD) for securing a grant award in the amount of $400,105 from the Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to purchase updated equipment that will ensure District responsiveness and efficacy.

These funds will enable the District to replace the Fire Department’s current six-key access system with a single physical key, as well as a single E-key. Upgrading these resources will provide the Fire Department with access to any lock-boxed building within its jurisdiction, ensuring that firefighters are able to quickly respond to critical emergencies and protect the safety and security of community members, homes, and businesses.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of CCCFPD to preserve life, property, and the environment throughout Contra Costa County by honoring the past, recognizing the challenges of the present, and continuing to raise the bar of excellence into the future.

Once again, congratulations CCCFPD!
