Since joining TPA, Jake has partnered with clients to research, identify, and pursue competitive grant opportunities. His expert guidance has helped craft dozens of high-quality proposals, maximizing clients’ chances of securing critical funding for their local communities.

Public Safety:
- Jake successfully secured three State and Local Cybersecurity grant awards, totaling $750,000, for three municipal clients. This program, which is administered by the California Office of Emergency Services, will enable cities and special districts to improve their ability to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats and incidents.
Community Development:
- Jake worked with the City of Moreno Valley to secure $5,050,000 in competitive funding from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s Digital Equity grant program. The funding will significantly increase the City’s access to broadband connectivity, support digital literacy, and remove barriers for disadvantaged communities.
Grant Writing:
- Jake has extensive experience drafting, submitting, and securing funding from a diverse number of grant programs, including those administered by the following agencies: Federal Emergency Management Agency, California Office of Emergency Services, National Telecommunications and Information Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, and Federal Highway Administration
- Jake has valuable experience coordinating community engagement and outreach efforts to strengthen project applications and ensure local support.
