Ryan works diligently to track, monitor, and analyze legislation in Sacramento, ensuring clients are able to protect and pursue their legislative platforms and strengthen their initiatives. With an extensive understanding of California’s legislative landscape, Ryan collaborates with state policymakers and stakeholders to advocate for local communities. Ryan also supports clients in identifying and securing critical funding opportunities, helping them enhance public services and drive community growth.

- Ryan supports TPA’s state advocacy team by conducting research on legislative and regulatory issues to provide foundational insights for client initiatives. Additionally, he monitors legislative hearings and agency updates to help identify emerging opportunities and challenges relevant to TPA’s clients.
- Ryan assists in drafting advocacy materials, such as policy briefs and client updates, to support the team’s efforts in advancing client priorities, as well as coordinates meetings and events with state legislators, agency staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate productive engagements for TPA’s clients.
- Ryan has experience drafting and submitting grant applications for a wide range of funding programs, including those administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Energy, and California Office of Emergency Services. He works alongside TPA clients to compile all project details, craft competitive applications, and secure impactful funding for California communities.
