TPA congratulates the City of Huron for being awarded a grant in the amount of $391,786 from the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Hiring Program administered by the U.S. Department of Justice.
This grant will enable the City to hire two new officers, one of which will be a School Resource Officer (SRO). This funding will allow the Huron Police Department to safeguard the community they serve by working with residents to build safe and sustainable neighborhoods.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to pursue its mission to provide efficient and effective quality municipal services that enhance the quality of life the community of Huron deserves.

TPA congratulates the Affordable Community Living Corporation for being awarded a grant in the amount of $5,000,000 from the CalHOME Program administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development.
This grant will enable ACL to facilitate the rehabilitation of 250 owner-occupied manufactured housing units in San Bernardino, Kern, and Riverside Counties.
This latest achievement will help ACL further its mission of increasing the availability of low and moderate income housing, aiding in local redevelopment efforts, and promoting economic development.
