TPA Joins Pacific Symphony for Sacramento Advocacy Trip

TPA was so excited and honored to join the Pacific Symphony, along with California for the Arts, for a fun and productive advocacy day at the State Capitol earlier this month! The trip celebrated April as Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month and commemorated Arts Advocacy Day, which presented an incredible opportunity for advocates to meet with their state representatives and talk about the power of the arts, challenges, and policy solutions.

TPA State Legislative Analyst Kami Martin joined the delegation to help facilitate a seamless and effective day of advocacy. Congratulations, Pacific Symphony and California for the Arts, on a successful day of advocacy, legislative engagement, and policy discussions! TPA is honored to support your efforts to raise awareness of the true value of the arts.

TPA Hosts Grant Seminar with Representative Steel

TPA was thrilled to host a Federal Grants Seminar alongside Congresswoman Michelle Steel at the Cerritos Public Library on April 10th!

TPA Senior Associate Anastasia Heaton provided key tips and tricks to crafting a successful grant application and presented an overview of upcoming federal funding opportunities to more than 40 community members from local public agencies and non-profits throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

TPA is grateful to the Congresswoman and her staff for collaborating on such a vital community resource! We look forward to continued partnerships that support local communities and strengthen California initiatives.

City of Agoura Hills Secures $1,383,068

Congratulations to the City of Agoura Hills on securing federal funding for the City’s Civic Center Microgrid Project, which will significantly improve the community’s infrastructure resiliency against extreme and dangerous weather events.

TPA was proud to work alongside the City and Congresswoman Julia Brownley to help secure $1,383,068 in fiscal year 2024 Federal Community Project Funding to make this project a reality.

Once again, congratulations, Agoura Hills! TPA is looking forward to our continued partnership with the City to help transform its vision into legacy.

TPA Secures $57 Million in 2024 Appropriations

TPA is so proud to announce that the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act includes over $57 million in Community Project Funding for our clients’ legacy projects! The inclusion of each of these projects is a testament to the positive impacts they will have on their communities, as well as the diligence and dedication of TPA’s team of advocates.

The funding will support local California communities and their efforts to improve residents’ quality of life, targeting critical issues including affordable housing, broadband access, public safety operations, transportation infrastructure, and parks and recreation improvements.

TPA is honored to work on behalf of our clients to secure the funds they need to transform communities and build a stronger California. Thank you to the California Congressional delegation for their continued engagement and support!

TPA Hosts SGVCOG D.C. Advocacy Trip

TPA was honored to help facilitate a successful Washington, DC advocacy trip on behalf of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments! SGVCOG President Tim Hepburn, along with Director of Government and Community Relations Ricky Choi and Senior Management Analyst Steph Wong, met with key federal officials, including Senators Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler, as well as Representatives Linda Sánchez, Judy Chu, and Grace F. Napolitano. The delegation also met with representatives from several federal departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, to discuss recent accomplishments, regional priorities, and future projects.

With 31 Member Cities and a service area that encompasses over 374 square miles and 2 million residents, it is critical that the SGVCOG continues to receive the support it needs to protect and promote quality of life throughout its diverse communities. Thank you to our federal partners for their continued engagement!
