City of Avalon Awarded $100,000 for Active Transportation Plan

TPA congratulates the City of Avalon for being awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000 from the Sustainable Communities Program, administered by the Southern California Council of Governments (SCAG).

The proceeds of this grant will go toward creating a master active transportation plan for the City.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.

City of Placentia Awarded $280,000 Grant for Atwood Trail

TPA congratulates the City of Placentia for being awarded a grant in the amount of $280,000 from the Bicycle Corridor Improvement Program administered by Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA).

The proceeds of this grant will benefit the planning and environmental design of the Atwood Off-Street Bike and Recreation Trail.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to keep Placentia a pleasant place by providing a safe family atmosphere, superior public services, and policies that promote the highest standards of community life.

City of Reedley Awarded $200,000 for Reedley Family Apartments

TPA congratulates the City of Reedley (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $200,000 from the Measure C Transit Oriented Development Program, Cycle VII, administered by the Fresno Council of Governments.

The proceeds from this grant will allow the City to construct the remaining 32 affordable housing units needed to complete phase two of the Reedley Family Apartments project.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
