City of Kingsburg Secures $236,051

Congratulations to the City of Kingsburg for successfully securing a total of $236,051 for three grant awards through the Kingsburg Tri-County Health Care District Grant Program administered by the Kingsburg Tri-County Health Care District to protect and promote the health and safety of all Kingsburg residents and families.

The funding will go towards three separate projects that will furnish the City with updated paramedic equipment, new public service vehicle and officer first aid kits, and public health and playground safety updates. These efforts will benefit the lives of all those who live, work, and play throughout Kingsburg and will significantly improve the community’s overall health and well-being.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to provide leading public safety services through innovation, leadership, collaboration, and an enduring commitment to excellence.

TPA Celebrates 25 Years

25 years ago on September 1st, 1998, President and Founder Christopher Townsend established Townsend Public Affairs with a mission to be Champions for Better Communities. Since then, TPA has helped more than 300 public agencies and nonprofits transform their visions into legacies and build stronger, more equitable communities throughout California.

TPA’s dedicated team of legislative advocates and grant writers have diligently worked to shepherd over 100 pieces of client-sponsored legislation into law and secure more than $2.8 billion in competitive local, state, and federal funding for clients’ priority projects. These accomplishments are a testament to TPA’s steadfast commitment to our values, clients, and local communities.

We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 25th Anniversary today and we look forward to continuing to serve our communities for another 25 years!

Representative Correa Presents $1 Million to AVAG

Last week, U.S. Representative Lou Correa presented the American Veterans Assistance Group (AVAG) with a check for $1,000,000 to support the Veteran Housing Assistance Program. The Community Project Funding, which was secured through the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act, will enable AVAG to continue providing housing, food, clothing, education, and career assistance to low-income and disadvantaged veterans throughout Southern California. These programs are crucial to ensuring veterans have access to the resources they need to live and thrive.

This achievement is an example of AVAG’s commitment to serving veterans and thanking them for their selfless service to our country. It is also a testament to Representative Correa’s dedication to veterans and securing funding for critical services that help veterans throughout Orange County.
