Townsend Public Affairs, Inc. is proud to announce that Cori Williams has been promoted to the position of Senior Director of the TPA Southern California Office.
Cori leads a team that manages a portfolio of over 30 clients, including cities, counties, water districts, sanitation districts, other special districts, and non-profit organizations.
Since joining TPA in 2011, Cori has developed policy expertise for a variety of local, state, and federal governments issues, including water infrastructure, sanitation, transportation, sustainable communities, parks and recreation, public safety, energy, local governance, and the environment. Cori has also been responsible for securing millions in competitive grant funds for TPA local public agency clients.

TPA congratulates the City of Avalon for being awarded a grant in the amount of $306,756 from the Adaptation Planning Grant Program, administered by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The proceeds of this grant will benefit the City’s Sea Level Rise and Climate Change Adaptation project. This project supports technical studies and community engagement that will help the City implement critical coastal infrastructure projects that are more resilient to the effects of climate change.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
