TPA is proud to announce that the California Budget Act of 2023 includes over $73 million in earmarks for clients’ legacy projects. The inclusion of each of these projects is a testament to the positive impacts they will have on their communities, as well as the diligence and dedication of TPA’s team of advocates.
The funding will support much needed projects throughout the state, targeting issues such as mobility and pedestrian safety, flood protection, education needs, affordable housing, emissions reductions, water treatment, and workforce development pathways.
TPA is honored to work on behalf of our clients to secure the funds they need to transform communities and build a stronger California.

Congratulations to the County of Kern for successfully securing a grant in the amount of $17,021,560 through the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Grant Program administered by the California Department of Health Care Services to establish a youth crisis walk-in center facility.
This funding will allow the Kern Behavioral Health & Recovery Services to meet the needs of vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness and justice involvement. It will also enable the County to expand its capacity to provide alternatives to incarceration, hospitalization, homelessness, and institutionalization. These efforts will be crucial to the promotion and protection of community safety and welfare, especially for at-risk youth populations.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the County to exceed the expectations of the communities it serves and be a regional leader in ideas, energy, and innovation.
Once again, congratulations Kern County!
