City of Dinuba Awarded $420,000 Grant for Green Median Improvement Project

Apr 02, 2018

TPA congratulates the City of Dinuba (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $420,000 from the Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation Program administered by the California Natural Resources Agency.

The proceeds from this grant will fund the Dinuba Green Median Improvements Project, which will remove the stamped concrete medians along El Monte Way and South Alta Avenue in the City and replace them with medians containing hardscape and native, drought-tolerant plants and trees. This addition will help to reduce the environmental impacts of transportation in and around these areas.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by Richard Harmon, Senior Director of the TPA Central California Office, to ensure a successful grant application.

Congratulations Richard, and congratulations Dinuba!
