TPA Again Ranks as Top Ten Lobbying Firm in California

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that once again we have been ranked among the top ten lobbying firms registered in the State of California.

The Secretary of State officially reported TPA as the seventh (7th) largest advocacy firm in California, in terms of revenue received for the second quarter of 2018.

City of Duarte Awarded $318,348 Grant for Tobacco Law Enforcement

TPA congratulates the City of Duarte for being awarded a grant in the amount $318,348 from the Tobacco Law Enforcement Grant Program administered by the California Department of Justice.

Working in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Sheriff and the Los Angeles County Probation Department, the City will use these funds to improve enforcement of laws relating to the sale, marketing, and restrictions on the use of tobacco products to minors and young adults, and to reduce the illegal sales and marketing of cigarettes and tobacco products to minors and youth through enforcement, prevention, intervention, and education.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to provide exemplary public services in a caring and fiscally responsible manner with a commitment to their community’s future.

City of South San Francisco Awarded Grant for Nature Education Camp

TPA congratulates the City of South San Francisco (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $9,250 from the Habitat Conservation Fund administered by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.

The City will use these funds to create the San Bruno Mountain Wildlife Camp, a nature education camp which will be run by the City.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
