City of Novato Awarded $220,500 Grant to Meet Sustainability Goals

TPA congratulates the City of Novato for being awarded a grant in the amount of $220,500 from the Food Waste Prevention and Rescue Grant Program, administered by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle).

The proceeds of this grant will help meet the City’s sustainability goals by partnering with local nonprofits to rescue over two million pounds of edible food, that would have ended up in landfills.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to provide excellent services and enrich the quality of life within the community in a fiscally-responsible manner.

Katie Cleveland Joins Firm as Administrative Associate

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that Katie Cleveland has joined our firm as an Administrative Associate in the TPA Southern California Office.

Katie assists in the day to day operations of TPA including business management, business development, office administration, and financial operations. Katie’s array of responsibilities also include providing service and assistance to the TPA Client Management Team.

Prior to joining TPA, Katie worked as a Financial Executive Assistant and an Executive Assistant. Katie graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication. After college, Katie lived abroad in Australia and New Zealand.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling, country music, Dodgers baseball, hiking, and camping.
