TPA congratulates the City of Costa Mesa (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $148,210 from the Local Government Partnership Program administered by the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) Clean Transportation Funding.
The proceeds of this grant will fund the purchase of three light-duty electric vehicles as well as the purchase and installation of at-least four Level II and at least one Level III/DC fast charge stations. The charging stations will be located in both the front and rear of City Hall and will provide convenient access for residents.
This latest achievement is another example of the City’s leadership to protect and promote the prosperity of its businesses and the quality of life of its residents.

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that Zac Commins has joined our firm as an Associate in the TPA Federal Office.
Zac brings Capitol Hill experience to TPA including a robust network of relationships with Congressional Members and staff. In addition to his experience with the appropriations and legislative process, Zac has expertise in several domestic policy areas, including transportation, labor, environmental issues, housing, health care, and financial services.
Prior to joining TPA, Zac worked in the Office of Congressman Eric Swalwell as a Legislative Assistant. Zac graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. At UC Berkeley, Zac played snare drum in the University of California Marching Band and taught a class on California state and local government and politics.
Outside of work, Zac enjoys traveling, hiking, watching baseball, and playing bingo with friends.
