TPA is proud to announce that Governor Jerry Brown signed into law Senate Bill 530 (Pan) while riding on a 15 passenger bike bus and sipping on some local suds! The legislation, sponsored by bike bus operator Off the Chain Bike Bus (a TPA client), will regulate bike buses in California and allow for alcohol consumption only if approved by local authorities. This was the culmination of a year of hard work by Senator Pan’s Office, Off The Chain, TPA Senior Director Niccolo De Luca, and TPA Associate Alex Gibbs, who quarterbacked the effort.

TPA extends congratulations to the Oakland Zoo and the Humane Society on this significant legislative achievement, as well as props to TPA Senior Director Niccolo De Luca and TPA Associate Alex Gibbs for their advocacy efforts in support of the bill.
And, of course, we extend thanks to Governor Brown for his support and signature.
