City of Orange Cove Wins $541,615 Grant for New Fire Truck

Nov 11, 2016

TPA congratulates the City of Orange Cove (a TPA client) for being awarded a $541,615 grant from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The proceeds from this grant will be used to purchase a new fire truck for the Orange Cove Fire Protection District (OCFPD). OCFPD is an all-volunteer, 26 member fire district that serves Orange Cove and the Counties of Fresno and Tulare, with a territory that spans 50 square miles.

This latest achievement is another example of the efforts by the leadership of the City to ensure the safety and quality of life of their residents.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Associate Sharon Sharon Gonsalves and Associate Gary Rogers (with support from Director James Peterson and Associate Laura Kroeger in the TPA Federal Office in Washington, DC) to ensure a successful grant application.

Congratulations, Orange Cove!
