City of Citrus Heights Secures $129,565
Congratulations to the City of Citrus Heights for being awarded a grant in the amount of $129,565 from the Cannabis Tax Fund Program administered by the California Highway Patrol!
The proceeds from this grant will be used to enhance DUI enforcement efforts which are crucial for public safety. The City aims to acquire a dedicated vehicle for DUI saturation patrols, ensuring swift response and effective monitoring of impaired driving incidents. Additionally, funding will support overtime payments for officers to enable them to conduct additional patrols.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
Once again, congratulations, Citrus Heights! We look forward to our continued partnership to transform the City’s vision into a legacy.
