TPA Hosts SGVCOG D.C. Advocacy Trip

TPA was honored to help facilitate a successful Washington, DC advocacy trip on behalf of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments! SGVCOG President Tim Hepburn, along with Director of Government and Community Relations Ricky Choi and Senior Management Analyst Steph Wong, met with key federal officials, including Senators Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler, as well as Representatives Linda Sánchez, Judy Chu, and Grace F. Napolitano. The delegation also met with representatives from several federal departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, to discuss recent accomplishments, regional priorities, and future projects.

With 31 Member Cities and a service area that encompasses over 374 square miles and 2 million residents, it is critical that the SGVCOG continues to receive the support it needs to protect and promote quality of life throughout its diverse communities.
