Cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, and Stanton Receive Financial Support to Conduct “Transforming Beach Boulevard” Study

TPA congratulates the Cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, and Stanton (all TPA clients) for receiving financial support in the amount of $345,000 from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to conduct the “Transforming Beach Boulevard” study.

These cities have been working as a coalition, in partnership with the leadership of the Caltrans District 12 Office (which serves Orange County), to make much-needed improvements to Beach Blvd (State Route 39) along its north/south route between these communities. This funding, to be administered by Caltrans District 12, will support their planning efforts for the project.

This latest achievement is another example of the leadership of these cities to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work of TPA Southern California Director Cori Williams to ensure a successful coalition as well as partnership with Caltrans District Office 12; in this instance with support from TPA Senior Director (and Caltrans expert) Richard Harmon in Sacramento to secure the funding.

Again, congratulations, and we look forward to supporting the coalition for continued success!
