City of Palmdale Awarded $174,000 Grant for Food Rescue Program

TPA congratulates the City of Palmdale for being awarded a grant in the amount of $174,000 from the Food Waste Prevention and Rescue Grant Program, administered by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle).

The proceeds of this grant will allow the City to improve their existing food rescue program that delivers unused and donated food to members of the community in need.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
