Kings Canyon Unified School District Awarded $381,457 Grant For Clean Air Buses

TPA congratulates Kings Canyon Unified School District (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $381,457 from the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Grant Program administered by the Fresno Council of Governments.

The District, which serves the largest school district transportation area in the state (from the Central Valley to Kings Canyon National Park) will use the funds awarded to replace two older school buses with two new clean air buses.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the District to provide a broad spectrum of educational programs and co-curricular activities for all students so that they may attain their highest potential.

It is also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Associate Austin Webster and TPA Associate Johannus Reijnders to ensure a successful grant application.

Congratulations Austin and Johan, and congratulations Kings Canyon Unified School District!
