TPA Client Success: Merced Union High School District Awarded $154,960 Grant to Reduce Student Truancy and Absence

TPA congratulates Merced Union High School District. (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $154,960 from the Learning Communities for School Success Grant Program administered by the California Department of Education.

The District,will use these funds for targeted programming to reduce student truancy and chronic absenteeism for high-risk, foster youth, and homeless students.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the District to ensure every student will walk off the graduation stage with a diploma in one hand and CTE certification/proficiency in the other along with college credit on their transcript.
