California Water Service Awarded $4,274,800 to Improve Water Systems

TPA congratulates California Water Service for successfully securing a grant in the amount of $4,274,800 through the Small Community Drought Relief Grant Program administered by the California Department of Water Resources to connect struggling water systems and provide safe, reliable water supplies to the more than two million people it serves.

This funding, which will support the Middlefield Road Consolidation Project, will help connect the water systems of several disadvantaged communities in the Salinas Valley. These efforts will be critical to ensuring residents not only have access to clean, safe water, but also to affordable, reliable services.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of Cal Water to protect its customers’ health and safety and provide the highest quality of services to more than 100 communities throughout California.

Once again, congratulations Cal Water!
