TPA congratulates the City of Lafayette (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $249,749 from the Community Power Resiliency Allocation to Cities Program administered by the Office of Emergency Services.
The proceeds from this grant will be used for equipment that will improve communications between the City Emergency Operations Center, public schools, school buses, and community gathering locations, in the event of a power outage or emergency event. Additionally, the proceeds from the grant will help secure equipment to ensure continued power for vital city operations and at key emergency evacuation and community resource centers.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
