City of Palmdale Awarded $4,150,000 for Courson Park Revitalization

TPA congratulates the City of Palmdale (a TPA client) for being awarded a grant in the amount of $4,150,000 from the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program administered by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
The proceeds from this grant will be used to revitalize Melville J. Courson Park. Improvements to the park include constructing a new stage, a plaza, a challenge course, a fitness zone with equipment, a decomposed granite walking path with exercise stations, a group picnic pavilion with shade, a playground, a mediation garden, and a mural.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City of Palmdale leadership to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
Congratulations, Palmdale!
