TPA Team News: Jose Alvarado Joins Firm as Senior Associate

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that Jose Alvarado has joined our firm as a Senior Associate in the TPA State Capitol Office.

Jose brings over eight years of experience in California government affairs and public policy to TPA, including his knowledge of the State Capitol and a robust network of relationships with members of the California Legislature and their staff.

Prior to joining TPA, Jose served as the Acting Director of International Relations for Speaker of the Assembly Anthony Rendon, where he worked with local, state, and federal government organizations to advocate for California’s message abroad. Jose worked closely with the Speaker and served as the main point of contact for diplomats and foreign officials working with the California Legislature.

Before going to work for The Speaker, Jose served on the legislative staffs for Assembly Member Rudy Salas and State Senator Loni Hancock, where he worked on a variety of public policy issues affecting the State of California.

Welcome aboard Jose!
