TPA Team News: Carly Shelby Joins Firm as Legislative Associate

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that Carly Shelby has joined our firm as a Legislative Associate in the TPA State Capitol Office in Sacramento.

Carly brings experience in government affairs and policy research to TPA, particularly with respect to matters that affect municipalities throughout California. Working closely with the California Legislature and various state agencies, Carly monitors and analyzes the impact and ramifications of proposed legislation on TPA clients.

Prior to joining TPA, Carly served as a Legislative and Policy Development Assistant for the League of California Cities, where she focused on the issue areas of public safety, housing and land use, local governance, sustainability, and labor relations.
