City of Palmdale Awarded $598,057 for Sustainable Transportation Plan

TPA congratulates the City of Palmdale for being awarded a grant in the amount of $598,057 from the Sustainable Communities Grant Program administered by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

This grant will allow the City to develop a Sustainable Transportation Plan with innovative policies, implementation strategies, and performance metrics to foster sustainable transportation in the City. This plan will emphasize protecting the environment, improving transportation safety, and enable the City to develop affordable and dense housing, supporting regional and state goals.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City to pursue its mission to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
