City of Emeryville Awarded $265,000 Grant for Street Crossing Improvements

TPA congratulates the City of Emeryville for being awarded a $265,000 grant from the Active Transportation Program, administered by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the California Transportation Commission.

The proceeds from this grant will be used to fund street crossing improvements to the Emeryville Bicycle and Pedestrian Greenway, which connects the City’s network of bike and pedestrian paths to the neighboring Cities of Oakland, Berkeley and beyond.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Director Niccolo De Luca and TPA Associate Alex Gibbs to ensure a successful grant application.

City of Fountain Valley Awarded $226,000 Grant for ADA Accessible Pedestrian Ramps

TPA congratulates the City of Fountain Valley for being awarded a $226,000 grant from the Active Transportation Program, administered by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and the California Transportation Commission.

The proceeds from this grant will be used to build ADA accessible pedestrian curb ramps within neighborhoods that are located near five elementary and middle schools in the Fountain Valley School District and the Ocean View School District. The project will provide greater mobility for the general public and improve the safety of the City’s routes to local schools.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by TPA Senior Associate Cori Williams and TPA Associate Eric O’Donnell to ensure a successful grant application.

TPA Again Ranks as Top Ten Lobbying Firm in California

Townsend Public Affairs is excited to announce that once again we have been ranked among the top ten lobbying firms registered in the State of California.

The Secretary of State officially reported TPA as the tenth (10th) largest advocacy firm in California in terms of revenue received for the 2015-16 legislative session.

TPA is proud to serve public agencies and nonprofit organizations throughout California on key policy issues and grant funding opportunities, and has secured over $1 billion in competitive funds for our clients.
